How do I book with Jones Beauty and Co?

We book up to a year in advance with a signed contract and a 40% retainer fee of your total booked services. Your date will be secured once we have received your signed contract and retainer fee. We cannot guarantee services, under any circumstances, until we have received both the contract and retainer fee, even if you have done a trial run.

Do you travel and/or do destination weddings?

Yes! We travel on-location, near and far. We will customize your proposal based on location, date, number of services, etc. Contact us for detailed pricing information for your destination event!

What is the best way to contact Jones Beauty and Co?

We prefer that all of our clients contact us through email. We service 300+ brides and clients per year and communicate with many clients and vendors on a daily basis, so it’s imperative that we have a record of our correspondence with every client. We answer emails Monday through Friday. We do our best to respond to all emails within 24-48 hours. If it is necessary for you to contact us by phone, you can reach us at 214-673-9282.

What if I don’t know the total number of services I’ll need on the wedding day, but I want to move forward with booking Jones Beauty and Co?

We book our time, our artists and purchase products and supplies based on how many services you book and sign for on your contract. We do require a minimum for all weddings, no matter the size of your party. We can potentially add services, so long as time or the schedule allows, after the contract is signed. Our team does book multiple weddings on one day, so we encourage you to add services as early as possible to guarantee we have enough artists to accommodate your party.

Do you require and/or offer a trial run?

Yes, we do offer trial runs and feel they are incredibly important for a bride to see how she will look prior to her wedding day or portrait day. You can always schedule your trial run on the day of your dress fitting so that you can see it with your dress.

Trial runs are not offered free of charge or in combination with your wedding day services. Trial runs are offered in-studio on weekdays only.

How should I prepare for my trial run?

We ask that you come with clean, dry hair and a clean, makeup-free face. Light moisturizer is fine prior to your appointment, but please no serums, face oils, etc. We also request that you wear something white (top, blouse, dress) so that the color or pattern of what you are wearing doesn’t take away or influence the color choices in the makeup. Brides: this also gives you a chance to see what your bridal look will look like in white!

Do you offer touch-up services or stay after everyone is ready on the wedding day?

Yes! Upon request we will stay with you through pictures, first look, the ceremony or for the amount of time through your wedding day schedule that you would like touchup services. We will leave after all original services are completed, unless you have requested an artist to stay for additional hours for touchup. Touchup services are charged at an hourly fee and will be based upon your request.

Do you offer appointments for special occasions, events and/or photo sessions unrelated to weddings on the weekends?

Yes! We offer concierge services to our clients who need that special look for an event or need photo ready hair and makeup for family photos. Please contact us for concierge services and pricing.

Do you offer discounts for large bridal parties?

We do not discount our services based on bulk. We offer a customized experience for each client, no matter the party size. We offer complementaries by not charging for a la carte items such as false lashes, airbrush makeup, chest bronzing and hair extension application.

How long will my appointment last?

For bridal appointments: we allow 2 hours so that we can have time to go through what your expectations are for your bridal look and also to go through any pictures you may have and to discuss your likes and dislikes.

For bridesmaids and attendants: we allow 45 minutes per service.

For concierge services: we allow 2 two hours for hair and makeup. We take time to do a mini consultation with you about what your desired look is and to set up our products and tools once we arrive prior to beginning the actual services.

Do you bring lighting with you when you travel on-location?

We do have makeup lighting that we can bring. We prefer natural light when available, because this offers the best lighting for makeup application. If this is not available to us, please let us know so that we can prepare accordingly.
